Abstract:
Intelligent technologies have already become a part of everyday operations in majority of hotels in developed countries. In tourism in general they have a great impact in the whole world, especially in transportation and booking systems. As in any other sector there are challenges to be overcome and concerns to be resolved. This article aims to provide answers in a multifold way – from the point of people working in tourism and hospitality industry, customers and their satisfaction with the developments, and from a social standpoint. The result of the review article suggests strong inclination of all stakeholders towards artificial intelligence. History shows that so far it is extremely beneficial to all parties. The core problems are security and safety assurance and the fear of loss of jobs in the industry, together with the high financial investments in the technologies.
