Health tourism is increasingly becoming a significant factor in the global tourism industry. This phenomenon involves travel abroad, or within a country, with the purpose of obtaining medical services, rehabilitation, wellness treatments, and disease prevention. The aim of this research is to analyze the attitudes of healthcare students towards health tourism, their perception of its significance, challenges, and the opportunities this sector offers. The research was conducted through a survey among students from various healthcare study programs to gather information about their knowledge, interest, and opinions on the integration of health tourism into the broader context of healthcare. The results indicate that students recognize the growing importance of health tourism in terms of economic development and the improvement of access to specialized medical services. However, students are also aware of the shortcomings in education about health tourism within their study programs, thus highlighting the need for additional professional development in this field. The conclusion of this research suggests the need for specialized seminars and educational programs that would provide students with a deeper understanding of the health tourism market, as well as the skills to navigate this expanding sector effectively.
