CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AND LUXURY TOURISM

Abstract:
The paper analyses the characteristics, role, significance and possibilities of application of creative industries in luxury tourism. First, the concept of creative industries is explained, as well as the influence of creative industries on the economic development of the country. Then, the relationship between creative industries and luxury tourism is analysed, bearing in mind that luxury tourism is a niche market that focuses on providing high-end, personalized travel experiences, and that on the other side, creative industries are where art, culture, and business come together, creating unique products and services. Opportunities for the development of luxury tourism in Serbia are also being considered. The goal is to highlight the existence of a synergistic connection between creative industries and luxury tourism, both in the creation of products and services intended for this market niche, as well as in their branding and promotion, bearing in mind future trends in the development of luxury tourism (sustainable initiatives and technological innovations). In the creation of this paper, authors used a cabinet research of the available literature and relevant examples from practice, with utilization of dialectical and synthetic methods, as well as methodological procedures: analysis, synthesis, deduction, etc.
