This scientific paper investigates the development of sustainable tourism products through ecotourism guiding and education, with a focus on the case study of the “Jevremovac” Botanical Garden. In contemporary tourism, ecotourism plays a crucial role in the preservation of natural resources, and visitor education is an important tool in promoting sustainable behaviors. The aim of the research is to analyze the impact of fieldwork in the Botanical Garden on students’ attitudes toward sustainable development, as well as their interest in preserving plant species and ecosystems. An empirical study was conducted by surveying third-year students from the course Sustainable Development, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative methods with the help of the statistical software package SPSS 26.0. The results indicate a positive impact of the visit on raising awareness about the importance of nature conservation, as well as the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in nature. The discussion focuses on the role of ecotourism and education in the development of sustainable tourism products, while the conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating ecotourism practices into educational programs as a key to sustainable tourism development.
