Abstract:
Architecture has always been part of the tourist offer of a region, either through sacred buildings and world wonders of the Ancient World, or through today’s extravagance of the United Arab Emirates. Vanity in the architectural sense has led to larger or more complex, certainly impressive buildings that attract the attention of millions of tourists from all over the world. Today’s architecture is a tourist product offered to potential visitors. A building represents an advertisement or a brand. It represents the theatricalization of the reality that surrounds us. Architecture serves as a reflection of the cultural identity of the region, showing its history, traditions and values. Tourists are often attracted to destinations that offer a unique architectural heritage, such as ancient temples, medieval castles or traditional villages. These structures provide a glimpse into the past, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and gain a deeper understanding of the places they are exploring. In addition, tourists who visit architectural sites often spend money on accommodation, restaurants and shopping, further boosting the local economy. Tourism-friendly architecture makes the tourism system highly profitable.
