It examines how IT-driven innovations such as personalization, real-time analytics, and gamification enhance customer engagement and retention while addressing significant challenges related to data privacy and system scalability. The paper also explores the growing importance of robust data protection measures and compliance with regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), highlighting how businesses must navigate these complexities to build and maintain customer trust.
